This is permanent role based in Liverpool on a hybrid basis.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
• A proven track record in data analytics and financial insights.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and proactive approach to challenges.

• Analyse large sets of data to provide clear recommendations that guide business decisions.
• Use different data sources to give a comprehensive view of performance, including financial results and trends.
• Introduce best practices in data analytics and automate key reporting requirements using Power BI.
• Review sales, profits, and supplier performance to find opportunities for improvement.
• Support the buying and sourcing teams in supplier negotiations using data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with non-financial stakeholders to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve cost-effectiveness.
• Help with budget planning by organising data and explaining key assumptions.
