You’ll contribute to budgeting, forecasting, modelling and month‑end reporting while providing clear commercial insights that support informed decision‑making. Working as part of a lean and collaborative team, this role is perfect for someone who’s driven, curious, and wants genuine career progression. Hybrid working environment with three days a week in our Docklands or Port Melbourne offices, and two days Working from Home. Responsibilities Partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver cost reduction programs Partner with finance and non-finance stakeholders to prepare budgets, monthly forecasts, and performance insights Analyse variances, highlight drivers, and help shape actions that improve commercial outcomes Support or lead business intelligence and process optimisation initiatives that improve internal reporting capabilities Deliver month-end tasks, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and data required for audits and ad hoc reviews About you Bachelor level qualification in business, commerce, economics, or a related discipline. Strong theoretical and practical understanding of financial and analytical techniques, including advanced MS Excel modelling Resilient with an ability to tackle challenges in a constructive and positive way, even when the pressure is on. Demonstrated ability to communicate insights clearly and collaborate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Experience in FMCG, food, retail, or wholesale environments is desirable but not essential Bega Group Story Bega Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
