THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Breadth of experience both within the Big 4 Audit/Consulting industry as well as in industry
  • Demonstrated Commercial Analyst experience, where you can provide examples of:
  • Advanced Financial Modelling capabilities, using enterprise FP&A tools
  • Strong financial acumen, CA/CPA qualification preference
  • Ownership of budget & forecasting models, including 3 way financial models
  • Experience with discounted cash flow and valuation models
  • Experience in developing pricing models
  • Ability to communicate complex analytics and recommendations in a simple, logical, and succinct manner to non-financial stakeholders
  • Project delivery, demonstrating success with embedding performance reporting tools into operating rhythms to drive behaviour changes
  • Familiar working within a matrix structure with the ability to prioritise
  • Champion best practice and deliver results that have positive impacts on the business and team
  • You love what you do and strive for continuous improvement, keeping up to date with the latest trends and sharing your knowledge with your colleagues
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role exists due to the exciting growth and rapid transformation of our business. As the Commercial Finance Analyst, you are a financial modelling wizard and will build best in class driver models to support key business decisions. You will collaborate and build strong relationships with the divisional and corporate services management teams, taking the time to understand the business and identify opportunities to continue to evolve and deliver sophisticated financial and operational performance reporting. This position is a full-time, permanent role in our Melbourne CBD office.
A role with varied responsibilities, including ownership of our core budget and forecasting models, delivery of bespoke analyses and data driven insights, development of pricing and valuation models and partnering with operational management to ensure that insights are supported by the experience on the ground.
