Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

A finance business partner who support non-finance functions such as operations, marketing and sales to enhance profitability and financial performance through strategic analysis, reporting, and operational improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for improving revenue and margins.
  • Propose initiatives like product mix optimization and reducing trade spend to improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide financial insights that drive commercial success.
  • Support negotiations by analyzing financial implications of contracts, partnerships, and business deals.
  • Develop financial models to assess business scenarios, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives
  • Evaluate pricing strategies and assess profit impact during price revision cycles.
  • Assess the effect of a cost increase on margin through elasticity calculations.
  • Coordinating the annual commercial planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with business goals, and update forecasts as market conditions change.
  • Oversee forecast and financial reviews to identify commercial risks and opportunities during monthly IBP cycle.
  • Evaluate ROI for spends, ensuring clear objectives and measurable uplift before approval.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Monitor key metrics and report monthly to management for decision-making.
  • Provide ad hoc project support as needed by leadership or cross-functional teams.
