JOB INTRODUCTION

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Commercial Finance Assistant to support financial operations across our portfolio. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine strong processing skills with commercial insight, supporting site teams to drive financial performance and embed robust control.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support day-to-day financial processes, including purchase invoices, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
  • Manage weekly payroll using the UDC system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Work with site managers and operational teams to monitor expenditure, highlight variances and challenge overspends
  • Support monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets, ensuring all revenue and costs are correctly captured
  • Partner with sales teams to ensure events are invoiced, paid and accounted for accurately
  • Assist in debt collection and cash management, maintaining strong internal and external relationships
  • Support stock checks, rotas and site-level financial processes to keep operations running smoothly
  • Build strong relationships with operational teams, helping to embed commercial focus and accountability
