SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

Essential

  • Qualified or Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a technology, cloud, or managed services environment
  • Experience within a professional services environment
  • Strong analytical and Excel modelling skills.
  • Experience working in a commercial finance or FP&A role.
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Adaptive Insights, or similar.
  • Exposure to AI or automation in financial reporting or analysis

As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you’ll be part of a high-performing finance team that plays a critical role in shaping the company’s future. You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, complex commercial models, and cutting-edge finance technologies.
The Commercial Finance business partner will support the Commercial Finance Director in delivering financial insight, performance analysis, and commercial decision support across Nasstar’s business units.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of financial data, driving actionable insights, and supporting the business in achieving its strategic and financial goals.

ANNUAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance of all accounting standards (UK GAAP & IFRS), internal controls, policies and practices.

Team

  • Support team through clear structured objectives (SMART) and MBO’s which are aligned to corporate objectives.

    Other

  • Ensure cover for all responsibilities within the team.

  • Responsible for and support any request for information for audit and other external requirements as necessary
