Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

This role is responsible for the Commercial Financial management within Europe.
This is a hands-on role, focused on commercial activities including customer pricing, especially those that relate to multi-station proposals. Investment appraisal program within Europe, Business development, M&A opportunities and acquisition/divestment projects
The development of strong working relationships with, amongst others, SVP Finance for Europe, the regional finance teams, local/regional business leaders, SVP Commercial and the Group reporting team is critical.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Lead financial responsibility & lead contact for Europe Commercial team regarding customer pricing scenarios and decision making for key accounts across multiple countries/stations
  • Ownership for controlling the investment appraisal program (CIP) within Europe, setting standards and defining relevant process improvements & efficiencies
  • Lead for Europe on Business Development, M&A opportunities and acquisition/divestment projects (including use of Salesforce Business Development system for the region)
  • Leading the development & introduction of standardised customer profitability analysis across the region
  • Focus on minimise impact of revenue leakage through close liaison with station, regional and group teams to ensure systems and processes are effective
  • Develop detailed working knowledge of key Menzies Aviation systems – billing, rostering, labour and purchasing, to support work on revenue leakage
