DESCRIPTION

This role is ideal for an experienced Manager in Finance with commercial experience, who is ready to take the next step toward a future Director position. You’ll report directly to the Managing Director while working closely with the wider Senior Leadership Team, gaining exposure to strategic decision-making and contributing to high-level initiatives.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in Finance roles ideally within a commercial environment.
• ACCA or CIMA qualified, with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in Office365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams), Xero and any other payroll software equivalent.
• Ideally (but not essential) is some Water industry experience (or TICC or Construction as a parallel).
• Exceptional communicator with the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
• Hands-on and accountable, with a flexible mindset and ability to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of financial procedures.
• Resilient and confident in managing competing priorities and delivering under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
