• Key responsibilitiesOversee day-to-day accounting, month-end closing, reconciliations and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage the P&L, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, cash-flow planning and variance analysis.
• Maintain financial controls, coordinate audits and ensure compliance with company policies and local requirements.
• Partner with commercial teams on sales, pricing, margins, stock performance and investment decisions.
• Lead and develop teams within your operational remit, improving productivity, availability and customer service.
• Manage costs, supplier contracts and process improvements, translating financial insight into practical action.

Your backgroundYou bring a solid foundation in accounting and finance, together with direct experience leading commercial or operational teams in a retail or customer-focused business.You may have started in finance before moving into operations, or progressed through store management while developing substantial accounting and financial responsibility. You should be equally confident reviewing the accounts and working with teams on the shop floor.
