The successful candidate will have access to mentoring & coaching, work hand in hand with the FP&A Manager as well as other members of the company and the broader Viva Energy group. Financial Reporting & Analysis Support weekly and monthly reporting across Liberty Rural and WFB Assist in preparing management reports, variance analysis and performance summaries Help monitor sales, volume, margin and cost performance and investigate key drivers Support working capital, sales and forecast reporting as required Month-End Close Support Provide hands-on support during the monthly close cycle Assist with journals, accruals, reconciliations and reporting required for month-end Support inventory, margin and freight cost reviews to ensure accurate reporting Work closely with the FP&A Manager and finance team to resolve variances Provide additional support during peak close periods Inventory & Operational Finance Assist with inventory reconciliations and stock-on-hand reporting Support pricing and rebate accrual processes Help investigate stock, margin and cost discrepancies with operations teams Assist in monitoring freight and logistics cost reporting Maintain accuracy of operational finance data across systems Planning, Forecasting & TM1 Support forecast and budget uploads and reconciliations in TM1 Assist with weekly and monthly forecast updates Help maintain reporting accuracy across planning tools Develop capability as a TM1/BI key user over time Business Partnering Support Work with operations and sales teams to understand performance drivers Support the FP&A Manager in responding to business queries and requests Assist with basic commercial analysis such as pricing, utilisation and cost tracking Help prepare information for meetings with operational stakeholders Build relationships across the business to support accurate and timely reporting Systems & Process Support Support reporting accuracy across finance and BI systems Maintain reporting templates and exception reports Assist with process improvements and reporting automation Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis support Qualifications You will have completed or be studying for your CA / CPA qualifications and have demonstrated the ability of being a part of a high-performance fast paced team. Experience working in and with ERP system/s and BI tools, combined with a willingness to learn, knowledge of TM1 although ideal can be trained. Commercial acumen and ability of not just reporting on data but identifying trends and providing continuous insights on key drivers. Stakeholder management and strong in person presentation skills. Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn. Attention to detail, ability to interpret key information to key stake holders In addition, you will be flexible in your approach and be able to vary communication styles, adapting effectively to various business units and professional backgrounds.
