COMMERCIAL/FLEET WORK TRUCK SALES MANAGER SUMMARY

As a Commercial/Fleet Work Truck Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for marketing to Fleet/Commercial and Work Truck customers and businesses.

COMMERCIAL/FLEET WORK TRUCK SALES MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prefer sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive field.
  • Enterprising individual who can start and carry out projects.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, planning and decision-making skills are necessary.
  • Possess good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management.
  • Attendance is an essential job function for this position.

Responsibilities
  • To develop and implement business with companies, municipalities and other organizations through contacting new businesses and by asking for referrals.
  • To establish a rapport with the customers and provide confidence in the organization.
  • Ensures prompt and courteous feedback to requestors of Fleet business and services.
  • Procures state-required certificates of title and arranges for registrations and inspections.
  • May arrange for insurance coverage on vehicles.
  • May negotiate with vendors to purchase automotive equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • May assign trucks and passenger cars for use.
  • Schedules work flow to achieve effective delivery of services.
  • Coordinates and troubleshoots problems both within and among departments, dealerships, and outside vendors.
  • Informs Supervisor of department activity, needs and problems.
  • Utilizes appropriate channels of communication as required.
  • Promotes a positive atmosphere by maintaining positive relations with co-workers and other staff
