The Role We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our mobile team in the Birmingham area. In this position, you’ll provide essential maintenance services for our clients at their sites, with a company vehicle provided. Benefits: Competitive rates of pay, Overtime and incentives available, 33 days Holiday and Training and development opportunities What You’ll Be Doing Carrying out the Installation, servicing, repair and planned preventative maintenance of commercial heating systems. Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health and Safety procedures and industry regulations. Working closely with the Contract Manager, Supervisor, helpdesk and wider engineering team to deliver an excellent service. Building positive relationships with clients, providing a professional service at all times Identifying repair requirements and preparing quotations when required Keeping up to date with industry standards and best practices to ensure compliance. Participating in the on-call rota. What we are looking for We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer who takes pride in delivering a high standard of work and enjoys building strong relationships with clients ideally with experience in the Facilities sector. You’ll have Commercial Gas qualifications are essential for this role including as a minimum CCN1, CORT1, ICPN1, COCN1 and CDGAO1 A good understanding of planned and reactive maintenance within commercial environments A Full UK driving licence The ability to work safely at height, in confined spaces and carry out manual handling tasks A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong problem-solving skills Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team Our Benefits Competitive Salary: Based on experience and qualifications.
