DOOR TO DOOR PAYMENTS (PAID TRAVEL TIME)

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a growing team at a successful Facilities Management and Building Services company. The job will include carrying out a variety of mechanical installation, maintenance, reactive and PPM works, in accordance with current regulations.

Responsibilities

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • (a) Performing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks and addressing reactive maintenance issues related to commercial gas systems, unvented plumbing systems, and appliances.
  • (b) Responding promptly to service calls and efficiently resolving issues to minimize operational downtime.
  • (c) Conducting thorough inspections, identifying faults, and executing repairs to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
  • (d) Installing, commissioning, and decommissioning commercial gas equipment as necessary.
  • (e) Ensuring the timely completion of accurate documentation and reports.
  • (f) Collaborating with team members and clients to deliver high-quality service and effective solutions.
  • (g) Executing installation, maintenance, and reactive tasks related to plumbing, encompassing central heating systems, water and waste pipes, toilets, and commercial plumbed-in appliances.
  • (h) Undertaking general maintenance duties as specified by the Client/Company.
  • (i) Being mindful of the budgetary and commercial implications associated with the work.
    These are illustrative duties. The post holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work within the company as the needs of the business grow.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Able to test own Gas installation/maintenance works
  • C&G Level 3 Plumbing qualification (or equivalent)
  • Valid Commercial Certification (in accordance with Gas safe regulations/standards)
