JOB SUMMARY

A respected Singapore-based food company with decades of heritage and a strong foothold in the B2B food ecosystem. Known for its commitment to quality and trusted partnerships across the HORECA, institutional, and distribution space, the company is entering a new phase of growth — and is now looking for a senior leader to head its Food Service commercial function.
You will lead the charge in expanding the company’s presence in the food service sector. You will shape and execute a commercial strategy focused on sales growth, customer development, and operational efficiency. This role reports to senior leadership and will play a critical part in scaling a core business division.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Business, Hospitality or a related field
  • At least 10 years in the food service, FMCG sector, including 5+ years in a senior or commercial leadership role
  • Demonstrated success in sales growth, strategic account management, and P&L ownership
  • Deep understanding of the operational and commercial levers in the B2B food industry
  • Commercially astute and analytically driven
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams
  • Passionate about the food ecosystem, with a bias toward innovation and execution
Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of revenue targets across food service channels
  • Lead market development initiatives to expand reach into hotels, restaurants, caterers, and institutions
  • Strengthen existing accounts and proactively secure new customers through tailored value propositions
  • Act as the key point of contact for major clients, channel partners, and distributors
  • Deepen engagement with strategic accounts by understanding their evolving needs and delivering solutions
  • Work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners to create long-term alignment
  • Stay ahead of market trends and consumer preferences to inform portfolio expansion
  • Partner with chefs, product teams, and marketing to co-create offerings for target segments
  • Translate insights into commercial opportunities and competitive differentiation
  • Ensure that go-to-market plans, supply chain processes, and customer service levels support commercial goals
  • Track competitor movements and adjust plans accordingly
  • Lead commercial reporting and insight-sharing for executive decision-making
  • Own divisional budgets, forecasting, and pricing strategy
  • Balance cost controls with investment in sustainable growth
  • Continuously evaluate performance and adapt strategies to improve returns
  • Guide and support a capable team across sales and operational functions
