POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Housekeeper to join our team. The role involves performing housekeeping and cleaning duties in commercial accommodation settings such as NDIS-supported living facilities, serviced apartments, motels, and government-arranged residences. The ideal candidate will follow structured cleaning schedules and hygiene protocols to ensure all rooms and facilities meet health and safety standards.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas in commercial accommodation premises.
  • Dust and polish furniture, wipe surfaces, and disinfect high-touch areas.
  • Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors; shampoo carpets as required.
  • Empty bins and dispose of rubbish in designated waste areas.
  • Clean kitchen appliances, cupboards, countertops, and wash dishes or cooking utensils.
  • Strip and make beds, change linen and towels, and replenish bedding supplies.
  • Restock items such as toiletries, drinking glasses, tea/coffee amenities, and writing materials.
  • Follow cleaning schedules and checklists provided by the company or clients.
  • Use cleaning agents and equipment safely and according to operating procedures.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
