JOB OVERVIEW

Rogers HVAC is a growing leader in both residential and commercial HVAC services. We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator to join our team. This role is critical to our continued growth and profitability—you’ll be responsible for accurately analyzing plans, preparing detailed bids, and ensuring our proposals are competitive while protecting company margins.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Estimator (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and take off from blueprints, specs, and project documents.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methods, equipment, and materials.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to balance competitiveness with profitability in bids.
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards, mechanical codes, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in HVAC systems installation and maintenance.
  • Experience with construction estimating and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for project documentation and cost estimation.
  • Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage contracts and client expectations.
  • Knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to control costs while delivering high-quality workmanship on all projects.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and contractors.
