Description Commercial HVAC Install Helper is an entry level position and requires no formal education or training. Responsibilities include the following: Variety of basic tasks associated with assisting HVAC Installer or Technician. Carrying tools, equipment from company truck/van to the job site. Moving discarded materials and equipment from the job site back to company vehicle. May be required to work some weekends and nights and have reliable transportation and a good driving record. All employees are required to wear company logo uniforms while in the office and on the job site (Button up and collar shirts). Be neat in appearance at all times. Other duties as assigned by management. Requirements Requirements/Education: Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma or GED No HVAC experience required (but some knowledge a plus) Pass drug and MVR screening Technical Competencies: Basic understanding of math, reading, and writing is required. Competencies Required: Good communication skills (verbal communication, listening, written communication) Ability to work under stressful conditions Ability to pay close attention to detail while multi-tasking Functional/Technical Skills Integrity and Trust Physical Demand: Must be able to work in extreme weather and climate conditions (hot attics, year-round outdoor conditions, etc.); Must be able to stand, crawl, bend, stoop, kneel or climb repeatedly (up to 25 times an hour), or for long periods of time (four up to two hours); Must be able to lift or carry up to 75 pounds unassisted, and lift above shoulder level; Must be able to work in tight, poorly lit and cramped conditions; Must be able to climb ladders and occasionally work at height; Must be able to execute all of the above functions and meet all of the above demands safely, posing no threat to themselves or those around them while doing so, and must willingly comply with applicable safety regulations in the completion of all work.
