Position Overview Texas Ace Heating & Air is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally, and can diagnose and repair equipment efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service. This position includes commercial service, preventative maintenance, and light replacement work throughout the DFW market. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections Service rooftop units, split systems, package units, exhaust fans, mini-splits, and gas heat equipment Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and mechanical issues Perform startups and assist with replacement projects as needed Document findings and complete service reports accurately Communicate recommendations clearly with customers and office staff Maintain a clean and professional appearance Follow all company safety policies and industry best practices Participate in an on-call rotation as required Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience EPA Certification Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on rooftops and ladders Professional attitude and strong communication skills Preferred NATE Certification Experience with: Carrier Trane York Lennox Daikin Rheem American Standard Knowledge of: Economizers VFDs Gas heat Heat pumps Basic controls and BAS systems What We Offer Competitive Compensation Top pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Annual performance reviews Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays Paid vacation and PTO Continuing education and manufacturer training Why Technicians Choose Texas Ace Year-Round Work Commercial customers provide steady work throughout the year.
