Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Commercial HVAC Service and Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 10 years of experience as a lead technician in commercial environments. The ideal candidate will not only excel in diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance but also have the capability to manage and execute equipment replacements from start to finish. Essential Functions Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and other commercial HVAC equipment Execute equipment replacements, including rooftop units, condensers, furnaces, and air handlers Accurately assess system issues and propose effective solutions to clients Complete detailed service reports and maintain organized documentation Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when needed Communicate effectively with dispatch, project managers, and customers Maintain compliance with safety protocols and industry standards Requirements Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of commercial HVAC experience, with at least 5 years as a lead technician EPA Universal Certification (Required) Proven ability to perform equipment replacements independently Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Work Environment This position involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. Travel to onsite work locations is required, both within the state and occasionally out of state. Reliable transportation and flexibility with travel schedules are essential. All necessary safety equipment and training will be provided to ensure a secure and productive work environment. Physical Demands Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions year-round. Responsibilities include frequent lifting and carrying of materials or equipment weighing up to 75 lbs, regular climbing and working from ladders, and extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work Full time - 40 hours per week. Travel Local travel required (including Wisconsin and Indiana).
