Our client is a trusted source in the commercial HVAC industry. They are looking for a full-time Commercial / Industrial HVAC Estimator and Project Manager – New Construction to join their team based in Ottawa, Ontario.
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial/Industrial HVAC Estimator & Project Manager with expertise in new construction, fit-ups, and sheet metal work/design.Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate will be responsible for estimating, managing, and overseeing HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in HVAC estimation and project management, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal work/design, and related construction processes.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with tendering processes and bid submission requirements.
• Knowledge of building codes, industry regulations, and safety standards.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Office Suite, and estimating/project management tools.
• Ability to perform site visits, including accessing various job site conditions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Availability to attend project meetings and job showings as needed.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract and reliable transportation.
