EXO Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s largest and most successful insurance brokerages.
Due to continued growth, our client is currently looking to employ a Commercial Insurance Broker, either in an Account Handling or Account Executive (client facing) role.

Salary: £30k to £50k plus (dependant on experience and the role) plus annual bonus and extensive benefits
You will ideally have over 3 years plus of experience within a commercial insurance brokerage.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT HANDLER ROLE:

You’ll be responsible for the account handling / account executive of commercial lines customers with risks ranging from Motor Trade, Property Owners, Commercial Combined and Fleet etc.
You will be a point of referral to more junior members of the team and you will use your expertise and experience to help with queries and occasional training/mentoring.

You will look to identify opportunities to grow the book through offering relevant cross sales and referral leads.

MAIN DUTIES IN THE COMMERCIAL INSURANCE BROKER ROLE:

  • Responsible for growing our client’s commercial book through new business / arranging policies for new clients
  • Be a point of referral within the team
  • Organise daily work to ensure compliance is met at all times
  • Liaise with Underwriters to help secure the retention of clients.
  • Identify new markets, schemes and other opportunities to help grow the Business

THE SKILLS YOU’LL BRING TO THE COMMERCIAL INSURANCE BROKER ROLE:

  • Thorough commercial insurance knowledge of at least 3 years is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Organised and effective worker
  • Client facing skills if you are an Account Executive plus experiencece of overseeing a book of commercial insurance business
