We are looking for a Team Lead to join the leadership team and to further enhance our growth. In this role, you will be required to mentor and coach a team of broker focused contributors in addition to your individual in-bound sales contributions. Sales skill and coaching ability is at the core of this position, seeking every opportunity to nurture your team members to deliver on results. This role will report to the Practice Leader.
This is a remote role, and the team member can work from anywhere in Canada. #LI-Remote

YOUR IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:



    • RIBO license or other provincial insurance license.

    • 3-5 years commercial broking experience within a sales role.
    • Persistence and agility to meet set targets consistently.
    • 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
    • Attention for detail and demonstrated flexibility in managing multiple clients at a time.
    • CIP and CAIB an asset.

    Responsibilities


      • Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to commercial new business brokers.

      • Lead and own delivering sales results of your team.
      • Must continue to learn and promote others to learn as well.
      • Should build up others and inspire their colleagues to do things that are more challenging than what they might think they are capable of.
      • Will be asked to perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and writing up reviews or recommendations.
      • Must perform one-on-one meetings with each of their direct reports and work to discover action items to help them improve.
      • Actively shadow team members and coach them to lift their performance to achieve desired levels.
      • Participate in interviews.
      • Other duties as assigned.
