Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to develop and execute design concepts that align with client goals, budgets, and brand vision. Contribute to all phases of the design process—from concept development and space planning to detailed documentation and installation coordination. Create compelling digital and physical presentations that bring ideas to life, using design software (Sketchup, Photoshop, Powerpoint, and Enscape, or current DE standard) and visualization tools Develop and maintain accurate drawings (AutoCAD and/or Revit), finish schedules, and FF&E specifications to ensure precise project execution and procurement. Source and select materials, finishes, and furnishings that support the project narrative and meet commercial design standards. Partner with cross-functional teams—including procurement, client delivery, and installation—to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional client experiences. Support or lead client presentations and meetings, providing follow-up documentation and proactive communication. Maintain organized project files, design libraries, and timekeeping records with attention to detail and accountability. Depending on level, mentor teammates, oversee junior design work, and help shape best practices within the studio. Required Skills and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Demonstrated proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD with the ability to create and edit detailed drawings and documentation. Experience with 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp and Enscape to communicate design intent. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) and Microsoft Office for presentations, documentation, and project organization. Strong understanding of FF&E specifications, finishes, and materials selection within commercial design. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience levels range from entry-level designers to senior design leaders—title and expectations commensurate with experience.
