David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a global iGaming technology and online casino platform provider currently looking to hire a Commercial Legal Counsel to join their growing team. Position: Commercial Legal Counsel Location: Limassol, Cyprus Work model: on-site Employment type: Full-time. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Advise the business on a wide range of legal matters including corporate law, labour law, partnerships, international ventures and corporate finance Provide accurate and timely legal guidance to management and business stakeholders on commercial matters Lead negotiations and drafting of commercial agreements including supplier agreements, PSP agreements, licensing agreements, NDAs and marketing agreements Support the business on intellectual property and licensing matters Liaise with external legal counsels on jurisdiction-specific matters including litigation, enforcement and licensing applications Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures Support M&A activities in collaboration with the management team Assist with legal training and guidance for internal teams and stakeholders. REQUIREMENTS: Law degree (LLB required, LLM considered an advantage), preferably from a UK university Qualified Attorney admitted to the Bar in the country of origin Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience Previous in-house Legal Counsel experience is mandatory Experience within regulated industries will be considered an advantage Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures Fluency in English, both verbal and written Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Previous iGaming and licensing experience will be considered an advantage.
