We are looking for a COMMERCIAL LEGAL COUNSEL, DISCOVERY & MEDICAL -EMEA to work in our global LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE team supporting Cytiva’s Discovery & Medical business, which provides proven solutions to accelerate research and discovery of biotherapeutics, enable quality sample preparation, reliable diagnostic assays, and sterile medical liquids and gasses.
The Commercial Legal Counsel will report directly to the Senior Counsel, Discovery & Medical and Genomic Medicine – EMEA.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Discovery & Medical business leaders and their teams in EMEA to help identify opportunities to drive the business forward, e.g. negotiating and closing important commercial, sourcing and R&D agreements whilst applying legal and commercial judgement.
  • Provide Legal & Compliance training to Discovery & Medical teams in EMEA to help them identify and navigate risks that may arise during the course of doing business.
  • Work in diverse, cross-functional teams to address issues, problem solve, design and implement new and more efficient processes/ways of working to maximise impact on priority matters.
  • Advise the business on compliance, privacy, antitrust, and advertising / promotional matters, flag IPR issues, work with internal IP lawyers and manage outside counsel as required to ensure Cytiva is appropriately protected.
  • Support adherence to internal controls in contract related processes and support the management of disputes and litigation.
