We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced legal counsel to come work with us in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Roles & Responsibilities: Drafting and negotiating various commercial agreements, including with Torq’s worldwide customers (NDAs, MSAs/SaaS Agreements, DPAs), partners (reseller agreements, distribution agreements, technology partner agreements) and vendors Advising on a range of compliance and regulatory issues Supporting other teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, R&D) to deliver business-oriented legal advice with a deep understanding of Torq’s technology Handling various assignments and projects across the company Working with external counsel as required Qualification: LL.B (or equivalent) from a leading academic institution 3+ years post-qualification experience in commercial/technology department at a leading law firm or as in-house legal counsel at a hi-tech company Proven experience in drafting and negotiating SaaS agreements – required Knowledge of regulations impacting technology companies, including data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA) and AI - required Native (or native-level) English – required Attention to detail, critical thinking and highly organized Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full time position.
