We are currently building, growing, and developing our Business Services Team. We are hiring for a COMMERCIAL LENDER in Klamath Falls, Oregon. Work with the Business Services Team which provides capital to local businesses who provide services to and employ members of our communities. The Commercial Lender requires the ability to build and maintain quality business member relationships, excellent analytical skills, detailed organizational and decision-making skills. The Commercial Lender will play a key role in advancing the Credit Union’s mission to provide our members and communities with the opportunity to prosper. Who We Are... Essential Job Functions Develop and maintain relationships with business members, understanding their financial needs and objectives, as well as identify and recruit potential members and business opportunities Evaluate loan applications, financial statements, tax reports, credit reports and other documentation to determine creditworthiness of applicants Structure and negotiate loan terms, ensuring compliance with Business Loan Policy and other regulatory requirements Work closely with members of the team to develop credit presentations to and present them to loan committee Closely manage a portfolio of loans by monitoring loan performance and managing risk by conducting regular reviews and follow-ups Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery of all products and services for our business members Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Experience in a financial institution or credit program Experience or training in commercial lending or the equivalent Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong analytical, decision making, and complex problem-solving skills In depth understanding of financial statements, tax returns, credit analysis, and risk management Proficient in negotiating loan terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes for both parties Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven organization, prioritization, and accuracy in work Physical Considerations Requires being under constant pressure for absolute accuracy within time limitations Requires working with disgruntled members and frequent interruptions Ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds Stooping; kneeling; crouching; and reaching below, at, and over shoulder level required Sitting – 80%; standing and walking - 20% Hearing, visual, and verbal ability required Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
