COMMERCIAL LENDER- MARKET PRESIDENT

Respected financial institution in Topeka, KS, is seeking Commercial Lender- Market President to join their team. This leadership role will be responsible for originating and managing a portfolio of commercial and agricultural loans, with a focus on maintaining strong asset quality, fostering business relationships, and driving sustainable loan growth. COMMERCIAL LENDER- MARKET PRESIDENT JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess prior supervisory experience with strong planning and leadership abilities.
  • Have extensive knowledge of commercial and agricultural lending practices.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office and financial analysis tools.
  • Demonstrate strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Five to eight years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry-recognized certification.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships, influence, and sell ideas or services.

Responsibilities
  • Solicit, interview, and respond to loan applicants and referrals.
  • Manage all aspects of assigned loan portfolios and relationships.
  • Structure and analyze new and renewed loan requests and assign risk grades.
  • Develop and implement strategies to provide excellent customer service and grow high-quality loans.
  • Build and maintain a loan sales culture.
  • Monitor existing loans for compliance with financial and collateral requirements.
  • Prepare accurate credit write-ups, loan presentations, and financial analyses.
  • Conduct collateral and field inspections.
  • Manage expenses within targeted profit levels.
  • Supervise assigned lending staff, including setting performance goals and conducting evaluations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Meet assigned loan production and asset quality goals.
