Description Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager Location: Logan,UT Operations Center We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our Logan Operations Center. This is a true growth opportunity for a professional looking to expand their impact beyond managing a book of business and play a key role in shaping a high-performing Support Team. In this role, you will serve as both a client-facing account manager and a trusted resource to our team of CSRs and Junior Account Managers, helping elevate service quality, technical expertise, and team development. The Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of client relationships, retention of renewals, and maintaining strong partnerships with Producers. This role also acts as a central resource within the operations team, helping drive consistency, efficiency, and best practices across the Logan Operations Center. What You’ll Do: · Manage and service a book of commercial lines accounts, including renewals, marketing, and policy administration · Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication, coverage consultation, and problem resolution · Partner closely with Producers to support account strategy, growth, and retention · Conduct account reviews to identify coverage gaps, risk exposures, and opportunities for account rounding · Establish and maintain strong carrier relationships to ensure timely and competitive placement of business · Serve as a technical resource for CSRs and Junior Account Managers, providing guidance on coverage, workflows, and best practices · Support training and development of team members, including reviewing work, answering questions, and reinforcing agency standards · Help drive consistency and efficiency in service processes across the Logan Operations Center · Escalate and assist in resolving complex client, carrier, or coverage issues · Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of all account activity within AMS360 · Maintain compliance with agency procedures, carrier requirements, and Errors & Omissions guidelines · Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support broader operational goals and initiatives What You’ll Need to Succeed: · 5–8 years of commercial lines insurance experience required · Active Property & Casualty license required · Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage, rating, and policy structures · Proven ability to independently manage accounts while supporting and mentoring team members · Experience coaching, training, or serving as a resource for junior staff strongly preferred · Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex coverage and service issues · Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly to both clients and team members · Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment · Proficiency with AMS360 or similar agency management systems preferred · College degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required What Poms & Associates Offers You: · Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage · Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) traditional and dependent care · Supplemental Insurance including Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Long Term Care, and Basic Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance · 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching · Worldwide Travel Assistance Program · Vacation Time · 3 Floating Holidays · Sick Leave · Observed Holidays · Paid Leave (Jury Duty, Volunteer Time off, Disability, Parental Leave, etc.) · Employee Assistance & Employee Discount Programs · Professional development opportunities, including tuition reimbursement and in-house education classes · Career advancement opportunities Relocation Support Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates considering a move to the Logan, Utah area This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Logan, Utah Operations Center.
