Job Summary: The Insurance Marketing Representative provides the marketing service necessary to obtain property and casualty quotes on new and renewal accounts allowing the Producer to focus on selling and maintaining his/her relationship with the client. Working directly with the insurance carriers to submit required applications, documents, etc to obtain accurate quotes. This position is for marketing at all locations and is part of our "Centralized Marketing Unit". Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review and analyze submissions received from Producers or Sales Coordinator Evaluate and select appropriate carriers to submit for marketing Coordinate with Producers and Underwriters required information necessary to obtain quotes Develop marketing strategy in partnership with Producer and identify account specific goals or desired outcomes Use organization skills to maintain a structured timeline and make adjustments as necessary for each account. ImageRight is the program used at SouthPoint Risk for content management Keep Producers informed of the marketing status and immediately involve them if a problem arises Prepare formal Proposals Bind coverage for accepted quotes Update Agency Management System/Content Management System with all marketing information so the account manager can transition into managing the account without delay Develop and maintain marketing relationship with appropriate company personnel Keep carrier databases as quick references and maintain the databases with up-to-date marketing information Compliance with applicable laws that avoids potential errors and omissions Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Tennessee Property & Casualty Insurance License required Minimum 1-5 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience preferred Commercial Lines Account Management or Marketing experience preferred AMS360 and ImageRight experience preferred Self-motivated and self-starter Ability to work well independently yet function as part of the account management team Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Work Location: Nashville, TN South Point Risk | Nashville, TN Work Type: Full-time, M-F Summary: If you enjoy helping others and are a compassionate, customer-focused individual, then apply today!
