Summary: Under direct supervision and following standard procedures with some limited independent judgement, compiles data, performs routine tasks, reviews documentation and facilitates modifications. Processes basic policy changes to support the underwriting process by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Identifies, indexes, scans, modifies and processes documents Communicates with underwriters, agencies, and vendors to obtain additional information regarding certain transactions and to answer agents’ questions. Enters new business applications, policy changes and renewal changes into the system. Processes various documents, including Michigan Liquor Control Commission filings, motor carrier filings, inspection and loss control documents, and others Requests and reviews information for reports including credit, motor vehicle reports, inspection and loss control reports, and other insured information. Reviews and approves endorsement requests and renewals within authority level. Routes risk-involved matters that are beyond assigned authority to underwriter for evaluation. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
