Description

Sampogna Law Firm P.C. is a results driven law firm dedicated to helping clients navigate their legal rights and obligations. We are looking to expand our team with a motivated litigation lawyer, with at least 7 years of experience.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a member of good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, and must retain status (have no disciplinary history)
  • License to practice must be active and in Ontario jurisdiction
  • Able to appear in Superior Court of Justice
  • Must reside in Ontario

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preparation of documents, including pleadings, motion records, trial records, settlement agreements, etc.
  • Preparation and attendance at Examinations for Discoveries, case Conferences, mediations, settlement conferences, and other proceedings as required
  • Attendance at Superior Court for motions
  • Legal research
  • Assistance in trial preparation and during trial
  • File management
  • Meet limitation dates and deadlines
  • Meet billing targets (fees, billable and billed hours)
  • Participate directly in consultation and negotiations sessions with clients, third parties, counsel, etc.
