We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant. This opportunity is excellent for those who are keen to expand their knowledge in all areas of law and work in a fast-paced environment with supportive and knowledgeable colleagues. While the role will primarily be litigation based, there are additional opportunities to gain experience in other areas of the law. Blaney McMurtry LLP is passionate about what we do and we are looking for someone who shares our passion to join our team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2+ years of experience in the legal industry
· Experience in general commercial litigation as well as the commercial list
· Experience with construction liens
· Familiarity with Caselines
· Bankruptcy and insolvency experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to multi-task and manage your time in a fast-paced environment
· Attention to detail
· Maintain strict confidentiality
· Completion of a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk Diploma an asset
