Description River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust. The Commercial Loan Administration Team Leader is responsible for supervising certain Commercial Loan Administrators (as directed by the Manager). In addition to those management responsibilities, this position also requires providing exceptional customer service to Commercial Loan Officers, customers and vendors while working within compliance and legal constraints arising from Bank policies, procedures and applicable laws. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of commercial loan procedures, loan policy, compliance and legal requirements. **We are currently assessing the optimal location for this position. Essential Job Functions Supervises assigned Commercial Loan Administrators in collaboration with the CLA Manager, including assistance with hiring, performance management, coaching and feedback, employee relations. Ensure commercial loan closings are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations. Coordinate with lenders, credit analysts, portfolio managers, attorneys, and servicing teams to facilitate efficient loan processing and approved closing terms. Oversee pre- and post-closing activities, including due diligence, document preparation/review, SBA E-Tran processing, servicing packages, and follow-up items. Develop, maintain, and communicate commercial lending procedures, workflows, customer service standards, and operational processes across lending divisions. Assist with administration and maintenance of commercial loan operating and documentation systems, including workflow, document, and reporting updates. Support audits, reconcile assigned accounts and reports, monitor pipeline and compliance items, and collaborate with servicing teams to ensure regulatory compliance and data accuracy. Requirements Qualifications, Experience, and Education Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably within a Commercial Lending related function (i.e., banking/financial services, attorney or real estate broker). Experience with real estate and loan documentation required and knowledge of banking, lending, commercial loan/deposit products, and experience with processing systems preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and time-sensitive work. Strong decision-making, verbal, and written communication skills. Professional demeanor with the ability to work effectively with customers, employees, vendors, and Board members.
