Description Job Summary Overview The position is responsible for performing complex loan servicing duties, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all loan transactions, and providing support to Commercial Loan Servicers I and II. Commercial Loan Servicer III will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our loan portfolio. Essential Job Functions Shows expertise in all Commercial Loan Servicer I & II tasks. Cross trained to manage all Level 1 & Level II tasks for the Residential Servicing department. Provides superior service to members (Internal and External) via the department ACD line, Temenos workflows and email. Adheres to quality standards for consistent, high-quality service. Provides support to other functions within the department. Performs I/O to P&I conversions. Prepares and generates reports, including SCRA reports. Conducts UAT testing. Provides approval for cashier’s check requests made by Commercial Loan Servicers I and II. Reviews decision documents and ensure compliance with established procedures. Manages FBO overrides. Handles member escalations on behalf of leadership as needed. Requests force placed insurance as necessary. Conducts audits and manage the department inbox. Provides overflow and support for Commercial Loan Servicers I and II. Prepares and approves 1098/1099's for applicable loans. Manages the department’s Sageworks pipeline and participate in pre-boarding calls. Handles specialty loans such as Flooring Lines of Credit, Letter of Credit, Participation Loans, etc. Facilitates Successor in Interest processes. Recommends, develops, implements, research and updates process and procedures that streamline and create operational efficiencies within Commercial Servicing. Facilitates ongoing training for Commercial Servicing Specialists which includes but is not limited to loan boarding, payments and payoffs, tickler report maintenance and call back processes. Leads hosted trainings and provide technical skill-based one on one training. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Position Required Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience High School diploma or GED and five-seven (5-7) years of experience in commercial loan servicing or two (2) years of experience in AFCU Commercial or Residential Loan Servicing, including expertise in boarding, tickler management, and payoff standards. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of loan operation standards with basic knowledge of lending, compliance, and credit regulations. Professional written, verbal communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to produce quality work within tight time frames while managing multiple assignments. Ability to work on specific issues related to the credit union’s core operating system Silverlake. Strong work ethic, the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing deadlines, advanced interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the desire to work as a team to support the overall success of the credit union. Licenses, Training, and Certifications Required None. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Silverlake and LaserPro. Construction lending and SBA servicing experience. College degree or any relevant financial industry certification. Hybrid Work Environment and Physical Demands Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch. Frequently required to sit. Regularly required to use hands to finger keys accurately when using calculator machines or computer keyboards; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
