Our clients are large national brands that occupy commercial retail spaces so we keep you busy in your territory. We are looking for experienced locksmiths who are currently licensed. We offer a competitive base pay as well as benefits. Below is a list of common responsibilities that you will be expected to know and be able to perform. This opportunity is open due to our expanding work orders in the greater Philly market and includes parts of south and central NJ. Our techs start and end their day at home, utilize a company van, and enjoy a typical Monday to Friday 9 to 5 schedule. Candidates do not need to be located in Philadelphia but should be nearby in a ~50 mi radius. Responsibilities and Typical Work Orders Gain access in basic lockout situations Standard and master rekeys Remove, rekey and cut keys by code for office equipment Originate, duplicate and stamp keys Recognize and identify various key blanks Identify and use correct code cards for HPC machines Repair, replace and identify locks Fresh installation of various locks Decode, pin and cut keys for SFIC Recognize and identify SFIC key blanks Complete walkthroughs for projects and conversions Remove and replace SFIC when control key in not available Generate basic 2 level master key system Identify and gain access to various safe deposit boxes Rekey safe deposit boxes Replace door closers, panic bars, stand-alone alarms, store front locks, etc. Replace and program electronic locks and sypher locks like DL2700, CO100 and Simplex Transport and install safes Fresh install door closers, panic bars, stand-alone alarms, etc. Fresh install and program electronic locks and sypher locks like DL2700, CO100, Engage products and Simplex Replace, program/combo change basic keypads and safe dials Pin and cut keys for high security cylinders like Multi-Lock, Schlage Primus and Medeco Requirements Requirements 3-5+ years of commercial locksmith experience Experience with repair/replace work orders on various commercial door hardware Experience with safe installs Active locksmith license Reasonably clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR Ideal candidates will be able to work with our corporate clients in a professional manner with little supervision.
Responsibilities
The technician will perform various locksmithing tasks including rekeying, lock installation, safe transport, and electronic lock programming for commercial retail clients. They are responsible for completing work orders, conducting site walkthroughs, and maintaining professional standards while working independently.
