Job Details Job Location: Oklahoma City OK - OKC, OK 73129 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Maintenance Technician Position Summary The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure. Conduct preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce unplanned breakdowns. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implement timely repairs. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams. Assist in installation and setup of new machinery and equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts usage, and service history. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with production teams to identify equipment needs and support continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and supplies. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred. 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments. Basic computer skills for maintenance software and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in varied conditions.
