Drive cost management by overseeing valuations, monthly post-contract cost reports, and proactive identification of design and construction-related costs. Evaluate contractor and subcontractor claims, ensuring fair resolution and directing the issuance of completion certificates in line with contractual requirements. Guide cost consultants in enhancing procedures, templates, and tools to deliver improved value and service to stakeholders. Champion best practice, transformational change, and carbon reduction initiatives, contributing to Mace’s net zero transition goals. You’ll Need To Have: Degree in quantity surveying or cost management, with strong professional development. Chartered membership (MRICS/RICS or equivalent), progressing towards fellowship. Proven commercial acumen with bidding, stakeholder management, and team leadership experience. Expertise in cost management, sustainability, and industry best practice delivery.
