Job Title: Commercial Manager

Salary: Circa £58,000 depending on skills and experience

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

• Proven background in operational commercial roles, particularly during early-stage lifecycle phases (LCM)
• Involvement in business development activities, including shaping and supporting strategic approaches
• Strong capability to engage, influence, and sustain relationships with key stakeholders
• Sound financial acumen with an understanding of commercial impact

Desirable:

• Experienced in intellectual property management
• Demonstrated success in overseeing and negotiating commercial contracts

• Drafting complex commercial solutions that deliver return on investment and customer value, while securing stakeholder alignment
• Building trusted relationships with project teams and the UK MOD to influence outcomes and integrate commercial considerations
• Managing the full commercial lifecycle, including negotiation of agreements and adherence to governance frameworks
• Collaborating with Supply Chain to align priorities, contractual arrangements, and supplier flow downs
• Leading Bid Approval Requests for Strategic Projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Mentoring junior team members and actively sharing commercial expertise across the wider team
