ABOUT THE ROLE

At Balfour Beatty, we’re delivering infrastructure that transforms communities and connects people. We’re currently looking for a highly capable Senior Engineer to join our Regional Civils team on the South Wokingham Distributor Road project, This is a key highways scheme that will improve regional connectivity and support local development.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a leadership role on a live civil engineering project, managing site engineering delivery and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance across all construction phases.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Senior Engineer you will:

Lead the site engineering team to deliver technical excellence on highways and associated infrastructure works

Oversee setting out, surveying, and quality assurance processes

Ensure works are delivered in accordance with design specifications, programmes, and safety standards
-
Support planning, programming, and coordination of subcontractor activities
-
Produce and reviewing method statements, risk assessments, and ITPs
-
Manage material approvals, construction records, and as-built documentation
-
Provide engineering input to resolve design and construction challenges on site

Mentor and developing junior engineers and supporting staff.
