Job Summary
We are looking for a Commercial Manager (Chartering & Sales) to drive commercial growth by securing cargo contracts and managing chartering activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the shipping industry and proven expertise in chartering, negotiations, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure cargo contracts to maximize fleet utilization and revenue.
  • Negotiate charter party terms, freight rates, and contracts with clients and brokers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with cargo owners, traders, and chartering companies.
  • Monitor market trends, freight rates, and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth voyage execution.
  • Prepare commercial reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management.
  • Drive sales strategies to achieve business development targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in chartering, shipping, or freight sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of chartering contracts, negotiations, and international trade.
  • Strong network with brokers, cargo owners, and ship operators.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Maritime Studies, or equivalent (Master’s preferred).
