The opportunityThis is a highly influential commercial finance role where you’ll translate complex financial and operational information into clear insights, recommendations, and actions.As a trusted partner to senior operational leaders, you’ll provide commercial guidance across business performance, planning, pricing, investment, profitability, and risk. You’ll bring constructive challenge, strong financial discipline and a genuine understanding of the operational drivers behind performance.

• What you’ll be responsible forPartnering with senior leaders to identify performance risks, opportunities, and commercial trade-offs
• Leading budgeting, rolling forecasts and regular performance reviews
• Connecting financial outcomes with operational activity and key business drivers
• Developing commercial models and business cases for pricing, investment, growth, and cost optimisation
• Providing insight across revenue, margin, profitability, cash flow, working capital and capital expenditure
• Improving management reporting, dashboards, and planning processes
• Supporting sound financial governance, controls, and risk management
• Leading, coaching and developing a Commercial Analyst

• What you’ll bringCA, CPA, or CFA qualification
• At least eight years of relevant commercial finance experience
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting and scenario-analysis capability
• Proven ability to influence senior operational stakeholders and turn analysis into action
• Sound knowledge across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue, inventory, and capital expenditure
• Advanced Excel capability and practical experience with BI, planning, and ERP systems
• Strong commercial judgement, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
• Experience in profitability analysis and business-case governance
• Previous experience leading or coaching finance team members
