  • Educated to degree standard in related subject

Responsibilities
  • Implement the best commercial practice to maximise value and minimise risk and cost.
  • Coordinate commercial support including screening of legal reviews for client submissions.
  • Provide commercial and contractual support and guidance to Project Managers.
  • Assesses risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation.
  • Management of subcontractor/supplier agreements and follow invoice approval procedures.
  • Master Service Agreement management, including timely renewals and review and negotiations of rates.
  • Bidding for new work, reviewing proposed terms and conditions for risk and opportunities.
  • Stage gate reviews - tendering including commercial leadership of strategic proposals, pricing, contract negotiation.
  • Manage internal bid approval workflows and ensure strict adherence to Kent’s Delegation of Authority matrix.
  • Support the VP, Pre-Contracts by developing contractual basis for escalated approval requests. Formally capture all approvals in the Kent Project Approval System (PAS).
  • Negotiate, manage and coordinate contracts, non-disclosure agreements and trading agreements.
  • Leading development of innovative commercial models for prospects pursued.
  • Provide commercial and contractual guidance across the portfolio to ensure proficiency and timeliness of contract administration
  • Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Review and manage NDA’s for the relevant business
  • Coordinate with functions to best support projects.
  • Engage in regular travel to projects and sites as required.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
