Responsibilities

As our team continues to grow and take on new projects, we are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Energy Networks Divisional Commercial Management team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high profile Electricity Transmission and Distribution projects, playing a key role in their commercial success.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and direction on commercial risk management while identifying opportunities through strong commercial bidding and project management, ensuring compliance with company policies and directives.
  • Review of contracts with suppliers and subconsultants
  • Liaison with Group Legal on commercial contract matters
  • Supporting project and bid teams with submissions for approval of special commitments related to contract and project risk
  • Provide support and advice related to group governance
  • Participation in contract negotiations. Supporting project teams in understanding key issues and securing sound and equitable commercial outcomes.
  • Support on commercial aspects of bids and project controls, ensuring financial and contractual integrity.
  • Provide strategic commercial input to Account Leaders and Bid Teams on specific bids and projects while supporting the Commercial Manager on broader commercial matters, including overhead management.
