Description

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Commercial Manager to lead and enhance the commercial activities in Hungary for a company with a global presence in the agribusiness trading market. This is a senior-level position where you will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the success of commercial operations at the national level.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience of at least 10 years in commercial management, business development or sales ideally in a multinational commercial environment or a similar position in agribusiness;
  • Strong strategic and hands-on approach to driving business growth and seizing market opportunities;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate, and inspire a high-performing team;
  • In-depth understanding of local market dynamics and commercial opportunities;
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in building long-term client relationships;
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • English knowledge, advanced level, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and capture local market opportunities, developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability;
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners within the region;
  • Work with senior leadership to align local commercial strategies with global objectives, ensuring effective execution and results;
  • Conduct thorough market research to assess trends, competition and emerging opportunities;
  • Lead the sales team, set clear targets and ensure commercial objectives are met;
  • Partner with marketing, supply chain and other departments to drive business performance and successful project delivery;
  • Provide regular updates to senior management, tracking KPIs and commercial performance metrics.
