Commercial Manager at atNorth Are you a commercially driven professional with expertise in financial management, procurement, and contract negotiation? atNorth is looking for a Commercial Manager to oversee and optimize the financial and contractual aspects of our development projects. Based in our Oslo office, you will ensure financial efficiency, cost control, and contractual compliance across our rapidly expanding infrastructure. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape commercial processes in a high-growth, international environment while working on innovative and sustainable development projects. Key responsibilities: Oversee budget preparation and financial oversight for data center infrastructure projects. Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance across all development phases. Lead claims management, variations, and the processing of payment applications. Collaborate closely with procurement, project management, and construction teams. Proactively identify financial risks and implement robust mitigation strategies. Monitor project costs and supplier agreements to drive cost optimization. Provide commercial leadership and financial discipline to maximize project profitability. Drive commercial discussions and ensure all agreements align with atNorth’s strategic goals. Your profile: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in commercial management, preferably in construction or infrastructure. Strong expertise in budget preparation, cost control, and procurement processes. Proven track record in managing complex contracts, claims, and variations. Analytical and meticulous mindset with an independent approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proactive, diplomatic style. Resilience under pressure and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment. Passion for both high-level financial strategy and hands-on project execution.
