Job Description

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Professional qualification- CA or CPA a must
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience working as Finance lead supporting manufacturing operations, preferably food FMCG
  • Proven business partnering skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and technology skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and complex business environment
  • Proficient in using multiple management information systems
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Willing to travel interstate
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, takes ownership and looks to value add
  • Self-assured verbal and written communicator, with a good stakeholder engagement skillset
  • An analytical and critical thinker, particularly in the context of problem solving
  • High attention to detail, the ability to access data, analyse the information and apply business and professional knowledge

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role you will business partner with a range of stakeholders including the EGM Primary Processing, Primary Processing GMs, GM By-products and individual Plant Managers to provide high level financial support for Inghams’ Primary Processing and By-products function. This role will support 5 manufacturing facilities across Australia. The successful candidate will have extensive manufacturing accounting knowledge with flexibility to complete both transactional and value add tasks as part of the Commercial Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business partner with senior stakeholders across Inghams’ primary processing sites, looking at key drivers of cost and supporting Operations with continuous improvement and commercial recommendations
  • Lead, coach and develop a high performing team of seven who are geographically dispersed
  • Prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts and financials
  • Provide analysis of operating performance and identification of savings opportunity
  • Review and maintain site standards
  • Support By-products and Ingredients in Commercial deals
  • Assist in preparation of site capex proposals and complete post implementation reviews
  • Monitor balance sheet accounts ensuring accuracy of financial records
  • Lead Labour Benchmarking & Optimisation
  • Conduct Site Yield benchmarking review
  • Coordinate SKU profitability reviews along with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Managers and Ops
