ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
To support the Operational Planning project team in the successful delivery of key projects. Ensuring that projects are delivered in line with agreed timeline, budgets and governance processes. Whilst also providing commercial expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:
Providing expert commercial support to the project team supporting them to deliver projects in line with expectations.
Lead the design and implementation of the Procurement and Commercial strategy to include the procurement of a long-term commercial model to support ongoing contract management. Developing mechanisms and contracts in line with TFW procurement requirements and suitable to the specific projects needs.
Represent TFW in commercial negotiations with third party suppliers.
Undertaking contract management and monitoring activities with third party suppliers.
Drafting and negotiation of contracts with third party suppliers (in conjunction with other TFW relevant parties inc Legal and Procurement). Ensuring that these contracts meet the needs to TFW, aligning with our core values and deliver value for money.
Developing procurement frameworks. Working with relevant internal teams to develop bespoke procurement frameworks which can be used by TFW to utilise the service of third-party suppliers.
Lead the design and the implementation undertaking of the market engagement strategy and activities. Engaging suppliers in the relevant fields gaining a thorough understanding of the market and developing relationships which can develop and be mutually beneficial to the supplier and TFW.
Closely monitor and manage supplier performance. Being a champion for operational excellence and positive customer experience. Ensuring suppliers adherence to contractual SLAs and working collaboratively to ensure these are met or exceeded.
