Role Description We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the Allianz Commercial Motor Team as a Commercial Motor Portfolio Manager, reporting to the Head of Motor. The Commercial Motor portfolio is one of the largest lines of business in Allianz UK making it integral to the continued success of Allianz Commercial. The role provides an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Portfolio Steering Team to shape the go-forward framework for portfolio monitoring and steering within Allianz Commercial, through the utilisation of latest tooling, developing improved segmentation and optimising the use of pricing data assets. This role gives you’re the opportunity to continue developing your professional and technical skills working across Allianz’s Mid-Market and e-traded Commercial Motor portfolios. This role will be hybrid from our offices in either Guildford, London or Southampton. Salary Information Pay: Circa £80,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package. About You Your role will vary day to day, but here is a bit of what you can expect: Supporting the delivery of growth and profitability in line with the portfolio objectives. Your responsibilities will include product development, underwriter development, thought leadership as well as supporting our regional offices. Supporting the development of superior technical underwriting and analytical skills. Developing and applying appropriate risk management offerings and techniques. Maintaining and improving underwriting standards. Ensuring that appropriate targets, objectives and development plans to support the accounts aspirations to grow profitably.
