They work with project teams, legal advisers, industry partners and senior stakeholders to develop tender documents, contract designs and commercial frameworks for major bus and service contracts. They analyse information, prepare briefings and help secure government approvals. By working collaboratively and influencing key stakeholders, they help deliver strong, well-managed contracts that achieve government objectives and provide long-term value for the public transport network and the community.   What we’re looking for (Selection Criteria)  You’re someone who:    Ensure accurate processing of invoices and escalating any policy and procedure breaches. Delivers projects by turning strategy into clear plans, setting roles, success measures and governance to manage risks and achieve outcomes. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders, understands their needs and works collaboratively to achieve shared goals. Demonstrates strong commercial and financial judgement, focusing on value for money, risk management and sound financial controls. Manages complex contracts effectively, ensuring supplier performance, compliance and risk mitigation. Focuses on achieving positive community outcomes and fosters a culture of collaboration across teams and external partners.   Click here to access the Position Description.    Qualifications and experience  Mandatory At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant commercial transaction / recontracting or commercial contract management setting. A relevant tertiary qualification in law, business management, commerce/economics or related discipline. Desired Experience in large public transport / infrastructure contracts in large complex organisations.
